Clueful web documentation search results?
Giles Bowkett has come up with a way to make Google useful for searching for JavaScript documentation. Tried it, and it works great. Lots of content farms "monetizing the dynamic Web space" as you might say, and this makes it easy to avoid them.
A related tool, and one that's helping me filter web development documentation*, is Personal Block. Available as an extension for the main browsers, and if you block a site from search results in one search engine/browser combination, you get it blocked in the others. The DuckDuckGo approach looks promising, too. Helpful List of content farms at jongales.com.
