Rosewill RNX-N180UBE wireless adapter for Linux
It turns out that the home wireless network here has good coverage except at my desk. So I got a Rosewill RNX-N180UBE 802.11 b/g/n Wireless Adapter, plugged it into the USB hub, and now I'm getting:
Link Quality=100/100 Signal level=72/100 Noise level=0/100
So hooray. This is the Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL8191SU 802.11n WLAN Adapter chipset, for all you chipset connoisseurs out there. I'm using kernel 3.14.2-200.fc20.x86_64 on Fedora 20.
(Yes, the packaging for this device only mentions MS-Windows support, but it doesn't go up to the latest version of that, so you should be able to get a good deal. I got mine for about $17.)
