Fried brick?

Following the Freedom Box Project and came across this article: "the GuruPlug Server Plus needs some major refactoring before it can be used."

Would be good to be able to get a fast ARM-based machine on a board without the cheesy "plug" case, and then mount it inside a metal case with a decent power supply. I wonder if you could put one of these inside a vertical piece of conduit and get good passive cooling.
