DRM is for the latest disposable bits...
...not for anything you want to put into the public record.
You can't pretend to be saying anything serious, or relevant to the future, in a DRM-covered medium. You're giving yourself, or whoever you sign your copyright over to, the option to un-say it. The Dead Media Effect, the DMCA, or both will make your work disappear unless the copyright holder decides to reissue it.
