Linux and MSFT both moving upmarket; UNIX under price pressure
IDC reports reports 2005q2 numbers on the server market, so let's extend the table we did with the 2004 data.

At the end of 2004, Linux was the only OS with increasing average server prices. Now, UNIX and Microsoft Windows are back in it. The overall market for 2005q2 stands at UNIX, $4.3 billion, MSFT $4.1 billion, Linux $1.4 billion.
