Bookstore promotion up in smoke

Well, looks like Mayor Sarah Palin just asked the librarian how to ban a book—she didn't actually send a to-ban list over.

Bummer. Every bookstore in California could have done a window display of "the books Sarah Palin doesn't want you to read" and every Obama supporter would have come in and bought a stack.

On the bright side, think of how much money you saved not having to get another copy of Harry Potter and the This Book Will Sell Your Soul to the Devil for Real. You might want to donate it to your local Friends of the Library.
