Yes, they run over the phone company lines, but ISPs are better at handling phone company BS than anyone else, especially me. I use Raw Bandwidth, which I found through broadbandreports.com back when it was dslreports.com. People like doing business with a responsible ISP. People don't like doing business with the phone company. So why not read the broadbandreports.com posts for your area and get happy?
