Doc Searls links to JD Lasica's list: 2009 conferences: Social media, tech, marketing

Doc's planning on going to LinuxWorld (now OpenSource World) and O'Reilly OSCON.

Let's see...

February

SCALE. We're having the LinuxWorld, I mean OpenSource World, BoF here, just like SCALE has its BoF at LinuxWorld. See you there.

March

Emerging Commuications could be good for the "open handsets and the open ecosystem" topic.

O'Reilly Emerging Technology (ETech) has been good in the past. Should be worth checking out.

Web 2.0 Expo—haven't been to this one before.

April

Embedded Linux Conference

July

13-17: 2009 Linux Symposium

20-24: O'Reilly Open Source Convention

August

LinuxWorld is now OpenSource World. Can't not go to this one—I get a radio this year.

September

21-25: LinuxCon/Plumbers Conference

21-23: Office 2.0 Conference 2009: this looks fun, and it's right in San Francisco. "The Office 2.0 Conference is a collective experiment organized every year in San Francisco, CA and aimed at discovering the future of online productivity and collaboration."

Will keep updating this.
