Why I hate computing should be "Why I should learn Blosxom". Blosxom lets you save and back up the text files that form your blog using exactly the same tools you use to save and back up all your other files.

This is a good thing. I don't like committing my text to a database-driven system, and I don't like using more than one set of tools to handle text. Presentation is a non-issue once you keep your stuff in one tree.
