Hi Daniel,
I do agree with you, but what you are talking about is more related to
torrent survivability
than to the torrent regular operation.
I see a torrent as a way to transmit to a large audience a popular
content. If this is not the case
then it makes more sense to use a client server architecture. A good way
to guarantee the torrent
survivability is to mix a client server architecture with a BitTorrent
file transfer.
This is not the solution to everything, but at least it is simple and
efficient.
