Have you tried http://plan-x.org/ ? And, specifically for the Kademlia
part, http://www.thomas.ambus.dk/plan-x/routing/ .

Azureus (http://azureus.sourceforge.net/ ) implements Kademlia for its
"distributed tracker" feature, and it's written in Java. Of course, its
implementation is likely to be incompatible with Plan-X...
