Dear Alex,

I am not sure if you are aware of that work:

This work assumes a power law degree distribution, however it assumes an
otherwise random network. I am not aware of work especially geared towards 
power-law networks in which the assignment of edges is influenced by the
content. Anyone aware of such work?
