The nice thing about particularly the first TCP approach is that it
should be a good bit easier than the UDP hole-punching in terms of
working it into the JXTA API. I guess you guys already have all your
reliability code in there, so maybe not, but it's nice that you end up
with a TCP socket that's just like any other.
