Davide,
JXTA also *fairly* recently introduced a JxtaSocket abstraction in
the platform itself which works a lot like a regular java socket.
This allows regular socket applications to be fairly easily JXTA-
ized. For instance we use JxtaSocket with the Smack XMPP library to
provide a XMPP over JXTA solution in the open source WiredReach
platform.
