[p2p-hackers] How to embed a figure using Latex

Hi, all.
  I want to embed a figure in my paper using LATEX. The embeding code is as follows:

\begin{figure}[h]
\centering
\includegraphics[width=0.45\textwidth]{example_tmp.eps}
   \caption{Example of caption.}
\end{figure}
   
However, the figure doesn't appear in the corresponding pdf file.
Does anybody know why and how to to do it?
