The FreePastry team would like to announce the release of
FreePastry-1.4. FreePastry is a structured p2p network overlay based on
the Pastry protocol, released under a BSD-style license. Improvements
over previous versions include:
* A more reliable transport layer
* Support for source routes to deal with Internet routing anomalies
* An implementation of a lease based version of PAST (our DHT)
* An implementation of multiple interconnected rings (see IPTPS'04)
* An implementation of Glacier, a data-durability system utilizing
erasure codes (to appear in NSDI'05)
* Numerous bug fixes throughout Pastry, PAST, Scribe, and SplitStream
