Yes, I saw that. Having read the patents, they seem to be extremely
inclusive - I can't think how one would develop any rateless code
that isn't covered by them.
The only reason I haven't contacted him, however, is because I
assumed he had some reason for not publishing his patent-free code,
and wasn't just going to hand it out to whoever asks. :/
