While we're on the topic of quorum systems for naming, it strikes me that there's nothing about Zooko's triangle which requires systems to tolerate rapid churn. A network of highly stable nodes, for example ones hosted at university comp sci departments, would be fine as long as it was large enough and allowed open membership.
