Student Placement: Agent Systems Research

The Pervasive Systems Laboratory has an internship available as part of
a research project in large-scale agent-based network systems. The
project is focused on pervasive and secure agent-based systems. This
position is part of a new and expanding project to develop cutting edge
applications and novel solutions for BT. 

Among topics to be investigated are: 
* Peer-to-Peer and Grid type networks
* Automated Service Discovery and Adaptive Behaviour

Applicants should possess the following essential skill set:

Required
MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Agents, AI, or related discipline.
Strong Java coding experience

Preferred
Software agent development experience or Web Server/Application
development skills
