[p2p-hackers] Several Questions...

Good evening everyone,

I have a couple of questions to which I would greatly appreciate some
answers/opinions....

1) Can someone provide any links to information about chunking files for
transfer in p2p networks (ie optimal chunk size in relation to filesize
(if that matters??), error checking/recovery methods, etc)?

2) The Chord Project website (http://www.pdos.lcs.mit.edu/chord/) is a
little out of date, but I am very interested in the CFS part of it. Is
there anywhere else that reports the latest development regarding this
project?

3) Following on from 2, is anyone aware of any other projects similar to
CFS (not just regular file storage/retrieval, but a unix-like FS interface)?

Thanks very much!

~Gareth
