Just wanted to fill everyone in on something happening
at work: Perforce (which announced support for Git
last year) has joined the Linux Foundation.

The basic idea is that you can now split out a subset
of a company's large Perforce depot and expose it as
a standard Git repository -- which Git users can use
without installing any Perforce tools or learning
any Perforce skills. This should make it easier
for more Perforce-using companies to "work upstream"
with the third-party components they use.
