Ported natively a VM or OS userspace. Not using the existing x86 port on
a virtual processor.
Like Linux has been, to Xen, UML, Windows userspace, etc.

Sure. But you can also just run Linux as an app under Windows. Without
needing VMWare, and the overhead involved.
