Hmm.

No way to enable it save of building a new kernel, right?

I seem to have a

eugen@hydrogen:~ $ cat /proc/cpuinfo
processor : 0
vendor_id : CentaurHauls
cpu family : 6
model : 9
model name : VIA Nehemiah
stepping : 5
cpu MHz : 1002.362
cache size : 64 KB
fdiv_bug : no
hlt_bug : no
f00f_bug : no
coma_bug : no
fpu : yes
fpu_exception : yes
cpuid level : 1
wp : yes
flags : fpu de pse tsc msr mtrr pge cmov mmx fxsr sse rng rng_en
bogomips : 1982.46

which is just a C5XL, not a C5P. Damn, no ACE, just a single RNG. Scrap my
question about OpenSSL, that's for C5P and C5J (C7) Centaurs strictly. (No way to get
dual C5P systems with 2 NICs in 1U anyway, not with currently available
mini-ITX motherboards, at least as far as I can tell).

If their release schedule continues to be as sloppy, that's rather end of
2005 for Esther, instead of spring.
