Slashdot's become a troll site. They can't have a single article that
mentions Red Hat without the article and a good portion of the comments
filled by Debian 'advocates' who are doing a really good good job of
both spreading a whole lot of bullshit and making it look like they use
their distro for no reason other than they have an axe to grind.

Er, no. They didn't announce the end of support for their desktop
releases. RHEL3 Professional is available for $130 Australian, which is
about three chocolate coins in $US.

The survey is pretty flawed too (headers which announce the flavor of
the webserver aren't good system administration practice according to a
lot of people) but, if it matters (and really, it doesn't - this is a
pissing contest) Red Hat still has more 'share' than all others else
combined.
