(Note - "info" is not a degenerate form of the latin root for
"information" [assuming there even is such a thing]. It is a shortened
or truncated form of the word information itself, created by applying
none of the rules recognized by prescriptive grammarians for word
transformation. However most, if not all, will instinctively understand
a sentence which uses the truncated form. Linguists will, of course,
recognize it as a word [of some type]. )
