	This could be another reason for C++'s rise.  GNU systems ARE
Unix nowadays, with the rare exception of Solaris (which runs
typically in a separate domain most of the time).  

	Perhaps people are writing more C++ code because they assume
their app will only ever be run on a Linux or BSD box.
