CERT is trusted?  When did that happen?

Have they ceased sending out gloriously useless advisories that have
been delayed for basically vendor-appeasing reasons and/or omit all
details that would be required for them to be actually useful?

Does this mean they've switched to just mirroring the Bugtraq list, or
what?
