pstoimg converts PostScript to bitmap (default png). In Debian, it's
included in the latex2html package.  

With -multipage, pstoimg creates an individual image file for each page.

There are also some TIFF tools you could use to create a multi-page image
file, e.g., tiffcp (Debian libtiff-tools).
