It's Dutch press talking about (with audio tapes) imams that call for
action and the beating of women. In another case schoolbooks have been
found calling out for action as well. A Dutch Islamic station explaining
that we should be burning in hell. The documentaries were well made,
with proper consideration. Even a muslim professor explained that this
is very worrying. The Dutch Islamic community acknowledged the facts,
apologized and undertook action. Sorry that's not a hype but real damage
done to the trust.

Oh sure. Media in general can be very opinionated. Especially in a
country we don't know (culture etc.) and where the language is beyond
our possibilities to understand.

|certainly there are extremists and nutcases... but they're nutcases
|and extremists. we've certainly got our share of those here.

Yeah. But it's the numbers that worry me the most.

|if i ran a mailing list, i'd certainly reserve the right to

I have my own mailinglist. I just feel that people should be able to
discuss something. Wasn't that the point of a mailinglist in the first
place. Don't get me wrong no racist shit here or anywhere else on the
Internet. It just sounded kind-off no discussion here and that's not the
Don that always seeks the discussion and the ratio.
