Ja, I noticed this.  A little surgery on the debian/rules file seems to
have fixed that -- as problem #3 of n, where #1 was libwrap and #2 was
PAM.  (What nitwit decided to make sshd GNOME-dependent?)

Geez, guys, if I'd wanted to "make world", I would have started out with
FreeBSD in the first place.  I'm not sure early access to OpenSSH 2.5.1 
via .debs is worth all this trouble.
