This is a very good point. IN PARTICULAR, if they've built a lot of
PL/SQL stored procedure hooha, you're in for a BIG porting effort to
go to PostgreSQL or MySQL.

This may be putting myself in the line of fire, but... if that was the
case, I'd probably go with stinky Oracle on Linux. (Oracle is stinky
in general, not particularly on Linux.)
