Not all of those are necessarily the expletives and curses you are
thinking of.

Just try "grep dam$ /usr/share/dict/words" (FHS).

The 2.4 kernel mentions Adam Bowen, Adam Caldwell, Adam Fritzler,
Adam Radford, Adam J. Richter, and Adam Sulmicki.
