For some reason, this strikes me as a leap century bug in Outlook Express.

While sorting my UUASC e-mail by date I came across a message with a date
of Mar 2, 2000.  So I looked at the message header:

Received: by e4e.oac.uci.edu for rwcitek

The dates in the message's path look OK.  So then why does the date show
Thu, 2 Mar 2000?  Does this signify a problem with my mail client?
