Now, I've been known to rag on the "intuitiveness" of Debian's installer
interface, but I was flaming dselect. apt-get is weird words but the
invocation of 3 pieces of strangeness doesn't really sound any more arcane
than, say, reading an ordinary street map...

Have fun with this one...

Here's MY nomination for the I'm-Not-In-Kansas-Anymore Award for today...
This is off the beowulf cluster computing list.
I normally don't engage in games of "kick the cluebie" much anymore, but
this was too good to pass up.

familiar with debconf, one of the things its allows is

PLEASE you linux nerd masters!.... give us a break!!!!
Most of us out here cannot, at most times, make enough
sense out of your lingo to
get ANY advantage from enduring the OVERWHELMING abundance of
mail one must sloth through to be on this mail list. I, for
one wish to gain some knowledge and experience from those who
have preceeded me... so to speak.
I know.... i'm gonna get some @(&$^*^ whos' gonna tell me
to go to whatcha ma dot com to get a refresher course on
linux/beowulf. Well... you guys?/Gals probablly don't realize
that by being sooooo focused and hypercentric... you are
alienating the base of humanity needed to push this form of
computing as a standard for the
future..........................Do you get it?
